Hill Cannon is an internationally recognised award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy who have an exciting and rare opportunity for an Electrical Associate/Principal Engineer to join an MEP consultancy in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Working alongside the MEP Director the successful candidate will take a pivotal role in delivering a burgeoning pipeline of projects and assist in leading, shaping, and developing a new electrical team on a wide range of projects. Preferably degree qualified and chartered the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate technical excellence in the design and delivery of electrical installations and will preferably have experience in leading small teams and in managing the financial aspects of projects. As a senior member of the team it is expected that candidates will contribute to business development and work winning.

Strong client relationships and the ability to achieve repeat business is essential along with experience working on a range of building types, including residential, industrial and commercial.
