Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading project management and cost consultancy practice with over 60 years experience in the building and construction industry, is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their branch in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects and professional assignments
• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients
• Take the lead in setting objectives and priorities
• Maintain communication to ensure all information is available to stakeholders
• Liaise with other managers to maintain accurate financial control
• Verify Tier sub-contract accounts
• Undertake commercial management services
• Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders and represent the company professionally at all time

Senior Quantity Surveyor Qualifications:

• Relevant education in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equal experience
• RCIS Qualified is preferred but not necessary
• 6+ years experience successfully delivering projects
• Experience in refurb and historical refurb considered an asset
• Great communication skills
